Watch out for the latest craze that will flood your email inbox if you are a website owner!

Here is an example of what hit my inbox yesterday…

and we love it!

We see that your traffic rank is 799180
and your link popularity is 34.
Also, you have been online since 2/20/2006.

With that kind of traffic, we will pay you up to $4,800/month
to advertise our links on your website.

If you’re interested, read our terms from this page. http://www.contactthem.ws (sorry you will have to copy and paste this, it does not deserve a link)

Sounds interesting don’t it?

I just couldn’t wait to get my hands on those links and put then on my web page. After all it did not cost me any money, and look at the income that I would get.

Further checking I found the only thing they were selling was a software package that finds websites like mine and yours if you own one and sends out the nice letters above.

This is the latest craze in spamming websites to place links on our webpage. Others who do not own websites can join for around $49.95/ month to get software to spam more sites and so on and so on. Your cut would be around 20% for putting the links on your site

Finding this out I quickly removed the ads that look a little like Google ads from my website. I HATE SPAM and was almost conned into helping promote it.

If you haven’t got an email from them and you own a website it wont be long before you get them. I had 3 more today.

If you are starting a home based business there are many other ways to make money being online than falling for a spamming software package and loosing your reputation.

Make money being online - Blogging

What is Blogging and why would any one do it?

If this question is on your mine you must be a newbie to the internet. A blog is a form of diary or information you can pass on to others and is derived from the words weB log. Like I said if you are a newbie you must be asking yourself why would anyone spend time writing a Blog? The answer is some just do it for fun while others do it to make money being online.

Here is an example; If you where starting a home based business you could write about some of the things you are selling; people search the internet for information. If you have a website you would link the key words to your website or the product page of your website. This way people visiting your blog may find the information useful, and would visit your website via the link. Many people make money being online by Blogging and using links.

You can also make money being online and using an affiliate link if you do not have your own website.

If you are thinking of starting a home based business you need to consider Blogging.

To supplement your income and to make money being online you must sign up for Google AdSense at https://www.google.com/adsense. These are the sponsored ads you see placed in various locations around a website or blog. You may only make a few cents or pennies when a visitor clicks on them but multiply that by the a few thousand site visits and it soon adds up.

Free internet marketing course

Who said there is no free lunch? Well you may not get a free lunch but you can get a free home based internet business. I spent months and quite a few Dollar$ searching for a money making home business idea. The nice thing about the internet is it’s full of information on about every subject you can think of.


Many people who starting a home based business for the first time fail due to lack of experience. To many times I have seen people stop one business and start another in a matter of months. If we want to make money being online the thing that I have learned is set out a goal and sick to it.

The great thing about working online is you can do it any time of day and it can be done part time.

For the novice who is looking to make money working online there are several ways to make money being online such as…

Surveys

You can find a free online paid survey by doing a search on Google and signing up with a few. If you go to www.TheWorkAtHomePlace.com/r/make_money_completing_survey_online.html You will find some free and some paid surveys. Get your feet wet with the free ones.

Words of advice… get a separate email address so you can monitor the survey requests.

You will have to sign up with a lot to get a steady flow of surveys to make money being online.
